Tasting notes: Seductive and very complex from the start, it brings out the dimension of the Douro in every drop, flooding you with a generous mix of fruity, dense and spicy aromas, with a silky texture, fine tannins and a firm structure, just the right gravity. It finishes balanced, long and with great precision. Ageing: 14 months in French oak barrels (70% used and 30% new) and Hungarian oak (100% used).
Pairing: Ideal with red meats, aged cheeses and intense dishes, this wine is perfect for occasions that call for sophistication and depth.
