Tasting notes: Maynards Porto Colheita Tawny 1974 is a rich, intense and immensely complex Port wine. It has rich flavors of caramel and spices that contrast with the notes of its citric acidity and freshness from ageing in wood, with a dry core of ripe sweet fruit.
Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif or dessert, with dried figs and Turkish apricots stuffed with walnuts. For a contrasting pairing, goat’s cheese crostini with walnuts and honey. Consume at 10-12ºC.
