• Tasting notes: Intense ruby color with a vivid purple rim. The nose displays a fruitiness of ripe strawberries and blackcurrants and resinous notes of cistus and eucalyptus that are the essence of the Croft style. The palate opens with a wave of delicious berry flavors and is supported by a dense weave of tightly-knit tannins. Although the wine displays some of the full, voluptuous character of previous Croft vintages, the dominant feature is symmetry and finesse. The characteristic lush fruit and intoxicating herbal aromas are carefully integrated, making this wine a classic in its proportions. An elegant and aromatic Vintage Port, perfectly balanced between opulence and restraint.
