• Tasting notes: The color is intense and concentrated. The nose is based on notes of wild berries such as blackberries and blueberries, nuances of tobacco and spices and reveals the graphite character of old vines in schist soils. Shaking it in the glass brings out a mentholated note that makes it lively. The palate is structured, complex and persistent. In reality, it’s a serious and “robust” wine with an incredible ageing capacity. This is a wine for those whose virtue is patience; time will work away the astringency and bring out its freshness and vivacity.
